In a fast-paced world, we all long for moments of calm—and nothing says comfort quite like slipping into something warm and soft at the end of the day. Felties was born from this simple yet powerful desire: to return to the honest, grounding comfort of natural materials and timeless tradition.

It all started with cold feet - and a warm memory.

As three friends living very different lives, we found ourselves facing the same frustration - house shoes that just didn’t meet our needs. Most were either flimsy and fashionable or synthetic and stuffy. We longed for something better: slippers that were warm, breathable, supportive, and built to last. Something thoughtfully made from natural materials.

In searching for that perfect pair, we were reminded of something familiar - our childhood memories of felted wool slippers, lovingly handmade by our grandmothers. Simple, beautiful, and deeply comforting, they were a quiet reminder of care, warmth, and tradition.

That memory became our inspiration. We knew we wanted to bring that feeling back - not just for ourselves, but for others too. And so, Felties was born: a blend of tradition, natural comfort, and conscious design.

Felties are thoughtfully designed in Australia and handcrafted in Nepal using traditional felting techniques that have been passed down for generations. We use only 100% pure New Zealand wool - renowned for its softness, warmth, and durability. Once made, every pair of slippers is shipped to Australia, where we personally carry out a final quality check to ensure they meet our high standards.
